Christopher- I used 20K ohm resistors, assuming ~ 2 watts would be sufficient. Seemed to work well. Some older capacitors dissipate their energy fairly quickly, while others can hold a charge for quite a while. BTW- my trouble turned out to be with the thermostat wiring. It was an easy fix once found. Should have checked there first... Chris
