My Dodge one ton with extra fuel tank full is 8000 lbs.. Now I load my
wife's electric scooter and all my tools.  Now I hook the 27 foot 
trailer on that is loaded and heavy on the hitch.
Real trucks are made for this. And I still get 20 mpg..  :)
