I am in the market for a 21' Globetrotter and want to tow it with a
new Land Rover. The Rover has plenty of power and towing capacity,
but the wheelbase is only 113", which is about the same as a Ford
Explorer.
I have seen comments that the Explorer wheelbase was not adequate even
for a smallish (17'-20') trailer and resulted in excessive swaying,
even when equipped with sway bars. I would really appreciate any
thoughts, experiences, comments.
