Hi Jill
We met a young couple that are travelling in a 30 Airstream with two 
children and a dog. He has a blog about their journeys.
Have a look at www.koehnjourney.blogspot.com and you will also find an email 
address there.
He is a  timber framer and has travelled with his family all over the US, 
researching timber framing and working for timber framers etc. A delightful 
family.
Hope this gives you some "man who owns one" information.
