From Houston, TX if I am going be traveling outside of Texas, the first day
I leave at daybreak and drive like #@?! until just before sunset.
Reguardless of whether I go North, East or West. Don't get me wrong there
are a lot of great places to see and vist within the 1st day radius, but if
my plans are for far away place's I want to get a lot of miles behind me the
first day. After that the pace lets up.
