Airstream supplies no hose.  Usually the dealer gives
you this.  This is my 4th travel trailer I've owned
and I've never had a dealer supply what I considered
an adequate hose.  I usually throw them away and buy a
heavy duty 20'hose.  Be sure to buy the heavy duty one
since it will resist punctures that come from rocks
and other campground debris.

We carry a hard plastic egg carrier that we bought
back in our old tent camping days when we threw the
eggs in the ice cooler.  You might find one in a store
that carries camping supplies for tenters, backpackers
etc.

I suppose it works, we haven't yet been in a storm
when they were open.  I play it on the safe side and
close them when there is a chance of rain.

Yea, full hookup sites are are preferred way of
camping.  We tend to stay in those sites.  One of the
members of our unit commenting on the fact that we
didn't seem to rally much at full hookup campsites
noted that they didn't spend all the money they did in
buying their Airstream, to have to take a bath in a
teacup.
