Re: [A/S] Re: Popping Rivets-ReVisited

Neather have I and I have never used an equalizing hitch. We have been taken
to task for not using one.
I have delivered many trailable boats that weigh much more than the 29-27 ft
airstreams because the trailers are submerged when launching elect breaks are
out of the question therefore they all have serge breaks you cannot use any
type of eaqulising hitch or sway bars with that type of system.I think that the
boats and the Airstream have one thing in common that contrubits to haw well
they track and that is because of the rounded front they creat much less drag
than a square box.
I would never suggesy that anyone not use an equlizing hitch in many cases
they are necessary.A lot depends on how will sprung the tow vechile is how far
thom the axle to the hitch and and sway bars on the tear of the vechile helps
it's roadability loader or empty.
