that does not serve the purpose of cradling the tongue if it pops off the ball
or, the head breaks off.  UNLESS, one is careful to allow no more than is
necessary to suppot that tongue.

using a Pullrite, I never need more than 2 or 3 links of slack.  after all, the
drawbar and teh tongue or one piece, there is NO swiveling on the ball.

The hitch is built like a Soviet tank, nothing to break<G> as long as you follow
the simple instructions.
