I had a receiver welded onto an aftermarket front bumper on my '91
Dodge/Cummins Ram 250 pickup (heavy duty front end for the big diesel) and
used it for years spotting my '76 25ft Caravanner and except for the
steering being a bit heavy with the trailer attached I never had any problem
at all! Are you saying that four football players standing on the front
bumper of a Suburban would keep it from easing around at 2mph? I thought
they were better vehicles than that! A front hitch setup is the cat's meow
for maneuvering in tight spots, I wouldn't be without one.
