You can check with Zip Dee. They have two helpers to make opening the 
awning easier. You can see them at 
http://www.zipdeeinc.com/Accessories.html  You can buy direct or through 
a Zip Dee dealer.

PS No one currently makes a powered awning for a curved sided coach like 
the Airstream.
