[A/S] Zip Dee awning question

Well, at last weekend's agility trial with the dogs I decided to open 
the awning for the first time on the new trailer.  I'd forgotten how, 
since the dealer showed me how in March.  But I figured it out, sort of, 
with the help of a fellow camper.  Although, even he struggled with 
pulling out the arms so the catch would latch.  I wouldn't have had the 
strength to do it alone.  Would it be OK to put a little grease on the 
arms so they'd slide better?

It was so difficult, I now wonder if it's possible to install a power 
awning on an Airstream?  Or is the Zip Dee going to get easier the more 
it's used?

And on a housekeeping note, what would be a good cleanser for the 
toilet?  I assume you don't use one of the products made for home toilet 
bowls because it might harm the seal?

I can't believe how much I love my truck and my Airstream.  It is so 
pleasant to have a home base at the dog shows, and I love how the 
aluminum interior reflects light and is nice and airy feeling.  Can 
hardly wait until my next show with the dogs to use my trailer again!
