[A/S] Chlorine in AS Water Tank

Don't know if I've asked this question before, but here goes... I know that
some of the chlorine based tablets that are to be put in a home toilet water
tank to sanitize it will also ruin the seals in that same toilets flush
mechanism. It therefore raises the question "Am I also going to cause damage
to the trailer's water pump )-Rings or seals if I use the pump to move
chlorinated water thru the faucets?
