I am sorry, my habits started in teh 60s when the fresh water tank was under the
front gaucho so that was a lot of weight on the tongue.
I expect that now that i have an '05 F350 SD PSD, I will quit worrying about
carrying extra weight.  but when you are towing with a 1970 Polara with a 318 or
a Suburban with a 353, you just get your weight down to as little as possible.

my apologies, I tend to live in the past at my age.
