What are the wheelbase of the TV and the length of the trailer? When I
was doing my homework on what to buy, I came across two sources that
offered the same rule of thumb: for the first 20' of trailer, you need
a minimum of 110" wheelbase. For every foot of trailer after that,
their recommendation was an additional 4 inches of wheelbase.
Otherwise, according to both these sources, the physics (something I am
no expert in) won't work. You wouldn't have enough wheelbase to control
the forces exerted by the TT.
The first source was something called the RV consumer group (they
dislike Airstreams in general, but overall their towing and safety
advice seemed sound), I forgot the second organization...
