I had left my 77 Airstream in Ocala from Nov till Feb to have new brakes put 
on at Walts. It mainly under trees. I just tried to wash it yesterday. There 
is some sort of black stuff on the roof and above the awning rails. I had not 
seen it from the ground. after many hours of scrubbing with car wash I got 
about 1/3 off. I tried Simple green, it was no better than the car was. Can anyone 
recommend anything that won't be too harsh on what little coating there is up 
there? 
or should I just keep scrubbing?
