Chas, I can't speak for Ford's but I can tell you that
bigger is not always better in regards to towing
capacity. In my case my 3/4 ton van has more towing
capacity than the one ton with the same engine/axle
combo. So dependent upon your needs keep that
statistic in mind.
The other consideration will be using the truck when
empty. I can probably guarantee you that the 350 will
ride much harder when empty than the 250.
