Hi Candy, Why not just not have the curtains. Gets some nice blinds and be done with it. That will leave some wall space to hang pictures. I'm slowly removing my curtains. If I could figure out a way to block my front windows, where they wrap around, I wouldn't have curtains at all. Hunter
