[A/S] Honda Generator Parallel Power Kit(s)?

I have been considering buying a pair of Honda EU2000i generators for some
time, and am getting very close to taking the plunge.

However, I have a question on the parallel connection of two generators.

I recently received a 2005 Camping World catalog which had two different
parallel attachment accessories listed.

1. Parallel Power Kit #26906 (list price $265.56)  "includes bolt on
bracket,parallet cables and hardware.  Control panel includes on/off
switch,30 amp breaker and 30 amp receptacle."

2. Parallel Power Cables  (Reg $39.99)

Does this make sense to anyone?  Will either do the job, or is the cheaper
item a house brand of "jumper cables" without the fancy Honda "Control
Panel"?

I recall a year or so ago, someone posted a way to build your own parallel
wiring harness from stock electrical parts.
