Hi judy,

I don't use the water tank at all.... but then I'm always hooked up to "city 
water".  I do drink campground water and the pets do too..... when I started 
out fulltiming I was buying them bottled water but that got old after a few 
months.

I do double filter drinking water though....... I have the under the sink 
charcoal filter and a filter outside of the trailer.

I am also using a water softener here at the farm because the water is too 
hard. 

Be sure to get a white 5/8" drinking hose if you do plan to hook up at 
campgrounds.
