Yes!  You have confirmed that I am making the right decision in 
rebuilding my old frig.  The man that I found has been doing 
rebuilds for sometime but also holds down a full time job elsewhere 
in the Cooking equipment fixing field, like myself.  He is self 
tough and has everything needed to completely rebuild the cooling 
unit.  His price can't be beat he is only charging me $300.00.  I 
delivered my frig. to him today and he said he would have it back to 
me in two weeks.  It is interesting that when I took out the frig. I 
discovered that the shelf it sat on is rotted and in need of 
replacement.  Looks like I will be replacing the shelf this weekend 
and trying to find out where the water came from.  
I would not like to lose the oak panels and worst of all; it would 
make my wife unhappy.  Oh no, we don't want to make her unhappy.
Please GOD let my rebuilt frig. work well.
