How long Nanowax will last, like any wax product, depends on conditions.  I
did our A/S with Nanowax about six months ago and the minor scratches that
it filled so well, are still invisible, so I take that as an indicator that
the wxs is still present.  The rig has been on several road trips that
involved rain and has been washed several times as well.  This last wash
(the trailer was filthy with road film mixed with rain) still showed that
Nanowax to be working as the film washed off far easier than I expected.

As for applying it, I would not say that it is overly difficult, nor would I
characterize it as easy.  It is a liquid that you apply with a sponge pad.
Once dried, you wipe off the haze (which is much easier since the product
applies less excess).  The product comes with a microfiber cloth to be used
in removal of the haze as well as buffing.  I found that using a PURE cotton
towel to remove the initial haze followed by polishing with the microfiber
cloth worked FAR more successfully.  The microfiber cloth just clogged up
too fast if used to removed the haze.  Polishing with the microfiber cloth
is VERY important to the final outcome as it levels the wax finish and
removes the last bit of excess. As I applied and polished each section I was
very impressed by the way the skin showed far greater depth and clarity than
resulted from any other product I tried.

Compared to Walbernize, I would say it is about the same effort, but IMHO,
the results are far superior.
