Re: [A/S] RV Cover

While is certainly heart warming that your experience with a cover on an
Airstream has been so good it does not follow that everyone else's
experience qualities as "nonsense".
After 13 years at an Airstream dealer I have seen dozens of coaches that
were covered and the results. Not one came away unmarked. If an owner
calls Airstream direct they will get the same answer, don't risk it.
The clearcote finish on an Airstream is designed to slow down oxidation
and discoloring of the aluminum, not to protect it from the environment.
That's what Walbernize and the like are for. The rule of thumb to wipe
with the grain when cleaning or waxing is to reduce the appearance of
the fine scratches that are put down when ever you wipe the metal. The
finish is quite fragile when mistreated.
Your cover is exceptional and not commonly known in the Airstream
community. Perhaps you would like to share the source for it.
