[A/S] Re: first trip in A/S

I am a little late on this, but have been away from my computer. I
disagree with draining the fresh water tank. I do just the opposite.
When I get home I fill the tank back up,not drain it. This saves
water and I have found that a full tank of water will stay fresh. I
have been told that bacteria can grow in an empty tank. I have been
doing this for several years now and it works for me. Another reason
for doing this is when you get ready to leave on your next outing,
this is one thing you don't have to do. I had always drained my tank
too and I found that when I used it the next time,if it set a while,
the tank give the water a funky taste. Now I do not have this
problem. Another thing we do, is keep socks, under wear, and a
couple changes of clothes in the trailer. This also saves time when
preparing for another outing. Have fun and enjoy your Airstream.
