Michael, Just how "thorough" an upgrade are you wishing? Are you 
going to replace the factory speakers in their current locations? Do 
you want your new "head unit" in the location of your factory 
system? Being a fairly late model Excella, do you have a car style 
unit or the separate receiver and tape unit? If you have the car 
style and wish another car style and are using the factory speaker 
locations but adding a sub, you should have a very simple job with 
the existing wiring and being 12vdc. Also Rich Luhr of Airstream 
Life, just replaced his system in his 24 foot Argosy. He used the 
factory speaker locations and I believe the factory radio location 
as well. I'm around almost daily if you wish to discuss this 
further.
