Hi, Gil:

Reading my post, it looks like serious problems. That's not the
case; sorry for the mis-impression. The problems I've had are problems
of convenience - the darn thing keeps closing while I'm trying to
un-roll the awning. It also tends to want to close after the awning is
unfurled - a no-no, according to Zip Dee. Nothing to worry about, just
annoyances. If others have encountered serious problems, I'm unaware of
them. I had *assumed* that Zip Dee discontinued them because of
complaints.
