the tonka was a 2002 concept and it did NOT have an allison tranny.
The vehicle’s Power Stroke® Diesel Super-600 Concept diesel V-8 engine is
teamed with the five-speed PowerTorq™ transmission, marking in Ford’s first
application of a five-speed automatic with a diesel engine. The 6.0-liter,
32-valve, turbocharged V-8 concept engine concept is rated at 350 horsepower and
delivers up to 600 foot-pounds of torque when teamed with the PowerTorq
automatic.
oh well. thanks for all the info on the Allison. will be interesting to see
what that MAG CAB is brought out with isfa engine and tranny.
I think that my dog would love lying on that folded down 60% and having access
to the back thru the back window. wonder what kind of turtle shell will be
available... always something to spend money on but at least it does not look
like it needs a running board or step to get up into the truck.
enough.
thanks for the input on this thread everyone.
