Those aftermarket "computer chips" can do that. Even higher HP, I think. I 
don't want one in my Cummins because I like having a valid Dodge warranty 
and I want my engine and transmission to last a long time. I also don't 
want the smoke I have seen from some guys who had chipped their engines.

Dodge was showing a highly modified Ram truck at a motorcycle show I 
attended a few years back that got over 500HP from a chipped Cummins. They 
had special gearing for it and it could go FAST at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Dodge seems to increase the HP and torque each year. A truck salesman told 
me they keep changing the chip as necessary to fit market demands. My '03 
has 300 HP and the '05 is now 325HP stock (610 Ft-Lbs torque).

Strange that they may increase the size of the cab. My quad-cab seems to be 
exactly right.
