Hi Oliver,

You are absolutely correct of course but some of us really like the solid 
wood cabinets instead of the veneer. 

I agree that Airstreams are no longer the original concept that Wally had, 
light, light light... My little 25 footer is a bulgemobile... but I like it that 
way. 

To me, nothing beats the warmth and durability of solid wood.  When I look at 
SOBs and see the fake wood cabinets it just looks cheap and tacky.

As long as there are people like me, who like the luxuries that cause the 
excess weight, Airstream will continue to build these overweight leviathans.

I like it so much that I got rid of my almost new 1500 Suburban and bought my 
diesel truck.  I couldnlt be happier with this rig, well..... maybe if the 
trailer was 28' with my floorplan. <g>  

Someday I'll do that, buy a 28' shell and move my interior into it.....
