RE: [A/S] Rear Vison System In 05 Manual

We are leaving Saturday on a weeklong adventure with some close friends that
have a new 2005 28'CCD.  I will take a look at their manual to see what A/S
is officially stating on the matter of wireless rear view systems.

But this is not rocket science.  Relatively inexpensive, wireless video
systems have been available for sometime.  I have a 2.4GHz, X-10, wireless,
wideangle, color, video cam system that I bought with the intention of using
as a hitching up aid (discovered, I could hit the spot on the Hensley
virtually 100% of the time without it, so it has seen little actual use).
The cam/transmitter unit is very small and runs on batteries.  The small
receiver runs on 12V and connects to any display device (I have a 3" Sony
color monitor that I used).  Have not tried mounting the camera to look out
the back window of the A/S, but may try setting it up for this trip and see
if it will work.
