No, it will work as well on you new Suburban. In fact the Suburban came
with a wiring harness which makes installing it a 15 minute job. Locate
the small box, either in the glove box or under the front seat, read and
follow the directions.

Your Kelsey is one of many brake controllers available on the market,
many of which have features that enhance their performance over older
controllers. As long as you are comfortable with the operation of your
controller there is no reason to change just for the sake of change.
