First you need a tri-mode phone.  You have to find out if yours is 
tri-mode..... then you need to buy the Mobile Office kit.  That includes software and a 
cable that connects your phone to your laptop using a USB port.

My cable has a place where I can plug in my phone charger so the phone is 
being charged while I'm online.

Then load the software and follow the directions. You will need to be in a 
digital area to get online..... not analog, not roaming.

Basically you will connect the phone and pull up the mobile office software.  
Hit the connect button and the phone will go online. Then just download your 
mail like you would when you have a broadband connection.

There is a Yahoo group called Internet by cellphone (I think) that can get 
more specific.

Remember you are sucking minutes during the day so disconnect the phone as 
quickly as possible.
