haha. i'm from massachusetts! they are very uptight!!! i don't think there are any 
temp plates at all. when we just bought our new trailer our insurance agent 
advised us to to all the paper work thru the mail ... take the paper work to the 
registry of motor vehicles, get my new plate and then drive to conn. with the 
plate and bring the trailer home. we didn't do it that way since it would either 
require us to send money first or the seller to send the title first. i'm not going to 
say what we did to get the trailer home.
