Actually Patti - no....Looking right...and seeing right are two different 
things!

I assumed the truck (since it's loaded with options) would have deep tint 
on the rear doors and rear window.

What I was talking about specifically was the type of tint on the windows 
of a cap - you buy.

Yes....from the "looking at the truck perspective" - a matched look between 
the cap and cab would look "factory" etc...etc...

But here is what I was pointing out:  From the perspective of "seeing out 
of the truck" - that is  something to check out before you buy.

When you have a cap ON - and let's say it has deep tint all around - and 
your truck cab has deep tint - when you are sitting in the drivers seat and 
you either look over your shoulder through the rear - or you look through 
your inside rearview mirror - you end up looking out through the deep tint 
of the rear window of the truck - "and" the tint of the cap windows - 
depending how a specific cap is set up.

In other words - when you look rearward in a truck with a cap - you are 
looking through at least three pieces of glass...1.  the truck rear window 
2. the cap front window 3. the cap side or rear window (depending on which 
angle you choose to try and see.

Where this comes into play - that you need to be comfortable with - is in 
making quick changes while driving and you look over your shoulder through 
the rear window or look in your rearview mirror.  In fact can you see 
anything when looking "quickly".  (some people are comfortable with this - 
and in my case - I'm not)

My example in my first e-mail suggested I saw reflections in the inside of 
my Tundra deep tint - that was inside the cab itself - I did not have a cap 
on it - and if I had - AND the cap was deep tint....I would have felt blind.  
(that is my personal situation - with my type of eyes etc...)

You mention you liked looking through your Suburban and then on through 
Pearl.  I have to assume you have deep tint in your Suburban - and that 
means it works for you.  That is great - but visualize this: assuming your 
Suburban has deep tint - you are comfortable with it - BUT - would you be 
comfortable - than - looking through several sets of deep tint - 
(sequentially one after the other) AND then through Pearl?  (that is what 
the truck set-up would create)  Would it even be possible - or would the 
multiple layers of deep tint effectively block out your "see-thru" Pearl 
view.  (obviously this wouldn't happen with a Suburban - my point is you 
are familiar with the Suburban scenario - so I'm suggesting you use that 
and then "add" in your mind what it would be like to have that extra tinted 
material between you and Pearl.

On the other hand....depending HOW MUCH....stuff you carry in the bed of 
the truck...you may not be able to see through the cap anyway....!  In that 
case...my points are moot!  So there you go!
