RE: [A/S] On the Eve of ....

Patricia,

I think you are going to really like your Duramax diesel tow vehicle. I
have owned diesel vehicles for over 20 years. I have also test driven a
Duramax, and thought it was really nice, especially the super duty Allison
transmission.

Ego trip aside, a modern turbo charged, direct (common rail) computer
controlled injection diesel engine is an awesome piece of technology - and
ideally suited to towing (High torque at low RPM, and good fuel
economy)[Your Duramax]. In fact, such an engine is incredibly fuel
efficient AND clean burning, as it only uses only enough fuel to generate
the power you need on a dynamic basis, and the turbo sees to it that the
fuel is completely burned (no soot). Also, the 2500 HD model truck is a
SERIOUS truck - very strong frame. Even the drive shaft is a large diameter
Alcoa aluminum tube for less weight and more stiffness.

You've got a great set of wheels!

Best of luck with it.

Oliver
