the top vent in the pair is the exhaust.  you can test this easily with your
hand when it is running.  ouch!  hot isn't it? <G>
the bottom is a fresh air vent for the burner chamber. That single vent MIGHT be
fresh air for your oven but again, all my experience is mid to late 70s and
straight sides.  do not ever remember seeing a single hole vent near the furnace
vent.

will yield to someone with later experience.
