Out here in the wild west it is fairly common practice to "dry camp" 
through the cold weather. By that I mean completely winterize you coach. 
Carry water in containers. Catch sink water in a pan that fit's the 
sink. Toss a handful of rock salt in the black holding tank. Dump waste 
water in the toilet to use as flush water. When you're done for the trip 
and headed home dump all remaining water in the black tank and stop at a 
dump station on the way.
By doing this the fresh water plumbing and the gray drainage plumbing 
stay safe. The rock salt will keep the tank contents from freezing. You 
can use the furnace and refrigerator but not the water heater. Not bad 
for 2-4 days trips.
