be aware that the water pressure regulator on your shore water inlet is usually
set at about 45psi, perhaps as high as 65psi.  the idea is to protect your
plumbing against high water pressure like that once(still?) found at El Paso of
about 85psi.  I have heard of still higher pressures in other townships and
cities.

point is, I have no problem running air into my plumbing at up to 50psi since
air at least, is compressible while liquids are not.
