Bless Those Big Blocks...

I may have my left turn blinker on a little too long here....and I may be
holding up traffic here...but it's the Holidays....the freeway seems fairly
quiet today...and I hope Hunter doesn't mind.

Neal - the Cadillac 472 is definitely a great sleeper. It was good if not
very good at what it did - in stock form from the factory in the early 70's.

I was pleased to learn that while not widely known - there are people in the
industry who provide "upgrade" HP parts for Cadillac 472 engines...so it's a
not-well-known- but fun area of the hobby to investigate.

As far as I'm concerned - there is nothing more fun than a stock vehicle
that is a "sleeper" at heart....and to go with that....to have a sleeper
equipped Airstream behind...well it just adds to the fun of the hobby.

(? What is a "sleeper"....well....for instance: the 1964 Dodge 440 station
wagon (mid size body) sitting in my garage. It looks like a plain jane
"grocery getter"...but in fact it came from the factory with a 426
Streetwedge and a 4-speed transmission and a bench front seat. I call it
"the Wagon the Little Old Lady From Pasadena would have ordered...if she'd
had a trailer"....)

Happy Holidays to Neal and William and Hunter (and Chaz) and all the big
block tow fans out there!
