Greetings Brad!

I have been reading through the responses to your question and 
realized that one issue hasn't been mentioned that could prove 
troublesome.  The one concern that I would have beyond those 
mentioned is whether the truck's motor has the hardened valve seats 
that are necessary when unleaded fuel is used - - I know that 
automobile motors were switched to the hardened valave seats 
beginning in '71/'72; but seem to remember, however, cannot confirm 
that truck motors may have been fitted with the modification later 
in the '70s.  I know from very expensive experience if the valve 
seats aren't hardened, the stresses of towing at altitude can 
quickly cause seat recision resulting in a major valve job (I spent 
over $1,200 on such a valve job on my '65 Dodge Coronet 500 
Convertible towcar in 1980 after towing without regard to the valve 
seat issue).
