Although our instant hot water is only 1/3 gallon unit under the kitchen
sink, I wonder if altitude changes have anything to do with it, since
travel so extensively.  I also wonder if air get in from continual
hooking/unhooking the water hose, but it even happens when using the
water pump.
It doesn't turn off intermittently as yours, we turn it off at night and
when we leave the trailer.
