We've got a 99 Dodge Ram 3/4 ton 5.9L diesel. We use it to tow our 31' A/S Sovereign. Dodge Cummins diesels get quieter every year. I don't mind the noise, but I don't hear a lot of sounds my wife does. One thing in favor of the Dodge Cummins diesel, mine gets 23 mpg w/o the Airstream and 15-16 mpg with it. Chevrolet and Ford get 6-8 mpg less. Dan
