[A/S] leaks

My '60 Pacer has had a recurring leak ever since I have owned it. (about a year 
now)  I have tried eveything that I can think of to seal what appeared to me to 
be the potential leaking points.  We are forced to remove our new mattress cover
and all the pillows in case of rain,  During the last downpour the splatter 
marks were out about 4 or 5 inches away from the back window.  I have been 
unable to witness the problem while it's happening.  Can anyone explain what I 
need to do to track this nasty problem.
