[A/S] Re: looking for Airstream club HELP!!!

Greetings vabeachnuts!

Welcome to the world of Vintage Airstreaming!

A good place to start (IMHO) is with the WBCCI. The Wally Byam
Caravan Club International will soon be celebrating its fiftieth
anniversary. WBCCI is an International organization with local unit
(s) in each state as well as in Canadian provinces. You can learn
more about the WBCCI at: http://www.wbcci.org/. There are WBCCI
events (Rallys) and tours (Caravans) held throughout the North
American continent with something of interest for almost any
Airstream product owner. In addition, the WBCCI has "Intra-Clubs"
devoted to the special interests of Airstream owners - - these clubs
include such things as CB Radio Operators, HAM Radio Operators, Free
Wheelers (Single Airstream Owners), Computer Club, Geneology, the
Vintage Airstream Club (probably the largest of the intra-clubs)
among others. You can learn more about the Vintage Airstream Club
at: http://www.airstream.net/.

One of the Units that probably isn't too far from you is the WDCU
(Washington DC Unit) that was formed by a number of Vintage Airstream
owners several years ago. The Unit is a regular unit open to all
Airstream product owners, but most of the members either own or
admire the Vintage units. The WDCU has a number of activities near
and along the East Coast each year. You can learn more about the
WDCU at: http://www.servintfree.net/wbcci-dc/.

Good luck with your research!

Kevin
