Not uncommon -- many people have problems with bugs their systems are not used to, 
which is inevitable when one changes water sources.

Many people on this list simply use bottled water for drinking -- universally available, 
can be refrigerated.  Doesn't require much, and of course, you can bottle your own home 
water.
