If you have an older heavier car you could even pull a 31ft. older lighter trailer. My '93 Crown Vic will easily take a 29 ft. There is a fellow in Canada that tows a 31. I have been warned by dealers and mechanics to take good care of my car because you can't tow with the new ones. I now have 143,000 miles and it is still as good as new. Kathy
