Daisy and Imanuel,
       Her idea is not so far out or unusual (although it doesn't match 
Imanuel's situation).  When I lived in Michigan a few years ago, it was de riguer 
for me and a lot of other people who were "trailer sailors" (people with 
sailboats they could pull behind their car on a trailer) to stop and spend the night 
in campgrounds when traveling around and sailing in different places on the 
Great Lakes (the North Channel, Lake Erie, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, etc.).  I 
slept many a night in my 22 foot sloop....ON its trailer and IN a campground!
