I suspect your IPS eats the spam before you see it when you are at home.... And apparently the reason for the firewall is partly to keep nosey parkers out, identity theft and such, but also so that spammers can't use your computer as a blind relay to hide behind. Especially a poor idea if the hacker is spreading a virus. Daisy
