Another source for campgrounds is AAA. They have campground books for 
all regions and they are linked to the AAA maps by little tent 
indicators. Because I drive alone I don't always take the time to plan 
out where to stay for the night until it's about the time I want to 
stop. I can quickly glance at the map and look for a red tent by a city 
in the area where I am, knowing that there's a campground before I pull 
off the road. They don't list all the campgrounds, just the ones they 
recommend.
