[A/S] International as a trim level

Someone mentioned in a post a couple of weeks ago that International was
a trim level, not a model.  Since I've always thought of International
as our model, I mentally filed this away until we were out last weekend
on a trip.

I looked all over the trailer as well as in our Owner's Guide to find
the name of what might be our model.  But I found nothing.  In the
floor plan sections of the Owner's Guide, there are typically listings
of some of the smaller "model" names but when it came to the 27', 31'
and 34' lengths, they are always described solely as International,
Excella, Limited.  So, I concede the trim level, but I'm still left
wondering about the model.

Truth be told, I have no idea who owned Airstream during the early 80s. 
Was it a particular owner who dropped the cute names (Bambi, Caravel,
etc. and my favorites of Flying Cloud and WeeWind)?  When did they
return?
