Hi Chris, I have the XM Roady in my truck and have a kit to use it in the house, and have not tried to use it in the trailer, but all the house antenna needs is southern exposure. I bet if you got a car antenna for it and mounted it on the roof it would work just fine. I am wondering if it might need to be aimable. Gonna try this soon. Daisy
